E3: Empowered, Educated, Engaged Jewish Women is a unique opportunity for women who are passionate about their community, and are looking to grow as Jewish women. Together, we learn about ourselves, each other, and how we can make a difference in our Pittsburgh community – Jewishly, citywide, and beyond. Our events are part learning and part schmoozing with old and new friends.

At E3 events, we participate in discussions, social action projects, and unique learning opportunities, all through interacting with influential Jewish women in our community. E3 provides a platform for you to educate yourself on current social, political, and cultural issues as they relate to Judaism and your own Jewish identity. E3 is a program of Women's Philanthropy at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.

E3It's social action and socializing.

It's Jewish Pittsburgh and Greater Pittsburgh. And beyond.

It's your old friends from Mommy & Me and your new friends from high school carpooling.

It's spiritual and practical.

It's fun and learning.

It's you and other engaged Jewish women.

With the New Year brings new beginnings.  To kick off our first E3 series for the year, women gathered to have the opportunity to create a floral arrangement for your Rosh Hashanah celebration with the help of Alex from Alex’s East End Floral Shoppe. Each participant created and took home their very own masterpiece to embellish their table and bring in a sweet new year.
