Our Beneficiary Agencies

About

Donations to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh's Annual Campaign and Jewish Community Foundation support the following beneficiary agencies:

Community Day School
Age 3 - Grade 8, for students from all Jewish backgrounds

Hillel Academy
Preschool - Grade 12, affiliated with Orthodox movement

The Edward and Rose Berman Hillel Jewish University Center
Providing social, educational, cultural and religious programs for more than 3,000 Jewish college students across Pittsburgh’s universities
Runs J’Burgh, a social organization for Jewish young professionals aged 22-29

Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh
An organization of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, educating the region about the Holocaust to promote tolerance, providing training for teachers, educational materials and community events on Holocaust topics
Waldman International Arts and Writing Competition, Grades 6-12

Jewish Association On Aging
Providing residential and outreach services for Pittsburgh’s Jewish seniors
The Charles Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (skilled nursing care, in/out-patient physical therapy), Weinberg Village and Weinberg Terrace (assisted living facilities), and Kosher meals on wheels

Jewish Family & Children's Service
Social, psychological and employment services provider for Greater Pittsburgh area, not limited to Jewish community
Offering counseling for all age groups; case management for adoption, elder care and immigration; Career Development Center; Squirrel Hill Food Pantry

Jewish Community Center
Offering social, cultural and religious programs for all age groups and segments of Jewish community in Squirrel Hill and South Hills locations
Preschool, fitness and wellness, Jewish summer camp (Emma Kaufmann Camp – overnight; James and Rachel Levinson Day Camp), activities for children and adults with special needs, and much more

Jewish Residential Services
Providing housing and support services for people with mental and physical disabilities
Howard Levin Clubhouse – vocational training and supportive social environment for adults with mental illness

Riverview Towers
Providing apartments for low-income elderly as well as kosher dining and support services

Yeshiva Schools
Preschool - Grade 12, affiliated with Lubavitch movement
